Pre-impregnated, twisted cotton thread is completely impregnated during weaving, which is an economical packing. This colorless impregnant prevents any fading and contamination of the product. Therefore, the packing is mainly used for cleaning media. Due to the seawater resistance of the impregnant, the packing can also be used to seal the stern tube and the propeller column. It can be used in water, sewage, sea water, and salt solutions.

It is made of polypropylene wax fiber as raw material, reinforced, woven, and impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene. This packing is woven with white asbestos fiber bundles, impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene emulsion (lubricant can be added on request). This is a softer packing, which is often used to seal various chemical pumps.
